Jean-Nicolas Bourdon, the genius behind “WTFramecomics,” brings his background in 3D animation and a lifelong passion for doodling to the forefront. Currently studying cognitive science in Montreal, Bourdon’s journey into the world of webcomics was inspired by childhood encounters with beloved characters like Garfield. Influenced by renowned webcomics such as ‘Ctrl+Alt+Del’ and ‘Loading Artist,’ Bourdon knew from the start that he wanted to craft his engaging narratives, drawing on his love for character illustrations.

“In April 2018, my wife and I launched ‘Aspigurl,’ which has since evolved into ‘Lily Spectrum,’ and shortly thereafter, ‘WTFramecomics’ was born,” Bourdon shares. Despite his formal training in 3D animation, Bourdon found true fulfillment in the realm of webcomics, where he could freely explore his imaginative ideas.
Bourdon’s creative process is as dynamic as the comics themselves. With a constant stream of random thoughts and associations, fueled by his ADHD, Bourdon effortlessly brings his ideas to life. From conception to completion, each comic takes Bourdon between one to four hours to perfect, ensuring that every panel delivers maximum impact.
