Initially, Ben did not intend to turn his comics into a series. However, with an ever-growing fanbase, he has had to keep up with Pixie and Brutus constantly. In his recent works, Ben has been looking at his content from a broader perspective. “I’ve been trying to diversify lately, not just with the format of my comics, like the Kickstarter campaign I’m currently working on, but also with the type of content I produce.”
Despite this shift, Pixie and Brutus remain an integral part of Ben’s work. “I’ll always enjoy creating family-friendly comics,” Ben reassured his fans in a previous interview. However, he acknowledged that “it can be restrictive to keep everything PG all the time. I have ideas for more serious, edgier stories that I’m eager to explore in the near future.”
