Nobby was a tiny puppy born without front legs, making it difficult for him to reach his mother and eat. The vet who examined him advised that euthanasia would be the best course of action, but Lou Robinson of Texas, who had experience caring for abandoned and unwanted dogs, decided to take care of him herself.
Lou and her husband Mark stayed with Nobby all night, providing him with love, protection, and sustenance through a bottle. Nobby appeared to be doing well at first, but when he was around one month old, he began sneezing and had difficulty passing stool, which led to the discovery of an issue with his esophagus.
Despite the dire situation, Nobby proved to have an extraordinary will and fighting spirit, refusing to give up. He was given antibiotics and placed in an incubator, and with the love and care of his foster parents, he eventually improved.
Now, three years later, Nobby has grown into an adorable young dog who has shown the world that anything is possible. Though he still faces difficulties in life, his story has been shared on his own Facebook profile, inspiring others to overcome their own challenges.
Lou Robinson’s decision to care for Nobby despite the vet’s advice has proven to be a life-changing one, not just for Nobby but for everyone who has been touched by his story.
