Glenn McCoy – who is a distinguished comic strip artist, cartoonist and animator in addition to being an exceptional children’s book author – has long been known for his extraordinary contributions to the art of professional-level comic strips. He holds a record for the most awards from the National Cartoonists Society, with 14 wins ranging from Magazine Medal of Honor to Editorial Cartoonist of the Year and beyond including four wins as Comic Strip Artist or Newspaper Panel Cartoons.
McCoy’s work has been published in The New Yorker, USA Today and Newsweek. Millar is creator of the syndicated comic strips “The Duplex” and “(flying) McCoys,” which appear in newspapers worldwide from Seattle to Sweden. McCoy has written and directed animated shorts, including Mower Minions, which played theatrically around the world in front of The Secret Life Of Pets In addition, his children’s books “I See Santa Everywhere” and “Penny Lee and Her TV,” published by Hyperion Books, also publish in five languages showcasing a wider reach of children literature/comic stories which he has impacted on.
