We caught up with Josh to delve into his comic-making journey. “By second grade, I was creating my characters and stories, probably inspired by Garfield. Oh, and there was that phase where I drew the Simpsons family in the buff, but my therapist assures me that’s perfectly normal.”When quizzed about his inspiration, Josh reveals, “I draw from existential angst. Comics took a backseat during my teens and early adulthood. But as I neared 30, juggling parenthood and multiple jobs in Manhattan, I felt a creative void. Making comics became my outlet—a way to exercise my creative muscles and navigate my emotions.”
