When it comes to generating ideas, Alex explained that he often finds inspiration in real-life events, sometimes looking back at his diary for reference. Ideas can strike at any time—during a shower, a walk, or even in bed at night.

Curious about his creative process, Fridlin shared that once he’s happy with an idea, he writes a simple script and creates a quick storyboard. Using a non-photo blue pencil for the initial drawing, he then scans the final drawing after outlining it with black ink. The last steps include removing digital blue lines and adding colors and text before sharing the comic.
