We all know the classic stereotypes of nerds and jocks. Anybody who has seen the 80s comedy “Revenge of the Nerds” remembers these stereotypes all too clearly. But both culture and politics have moved on a long way since then, the old power structures are no more.
Marko Raassina (artist, Liz: The Tower and Other Tales) has a vision of this world without the constant regurgitation of these tired tropes; He thinks that we can put aside the differences and use those as a strength for achieving mutual benefits. He wrote, “I began working on making wholesome webcomics in early 2020.” I really have one other series named Grumpy, so I mean pretty much like Nerd and Jock. “

Nerd and Jock are part of where Raassina is now focusing his work – making those heartwarming, adorable comics. Do you have any plans for a series or book in general that is about Nerd and Jock? “Absolutely!” he confirmed. ‘Nerd and Jock will be a series as I create more comics, potentially even making it into its own book. Also, I am working on launching a site where my side-splitting comics will be posted. I am kind of doing that right now with my Tumblr posts and tweets.
