We caught up with Mr. Blue to learn about the inspiration behind their comics.

Mr. Blue shared, “I create comics by night while working in IT during the day. I’m passionate about staying active and exercising with my partner, Mrs. Blue. We’re also proud parents to a daughter and a newborn son. Mrs. Blue is my biggest supporter and encourages me to pursue my hobbies.”
Reflecting on their journey into cartooning, Mr. Blue said, “I’ve always loved drawing and making people laugh through comics. Surprisingly, I didn’t read many comics until I met Mrs. Blue.”
Why the blue theme? Mr. Blue explained, “Being color blind, I struggle with matching colors. Hence, the all-blue aesthetic serves as a slice of life, focusing on relationships.”

Discussing their creative process, Mr. Blue shared, “I draw inspiration from real-life experiences and jot down words that come to mind. I craft humorous gags from these words, avoiding trends to maintain originality.”
Lastly, Mr. Blue hopes readers find joy in their comics. “Life doesn’t have to be serious. You can find humor even in tough times,” they said. “Creating comics is my passion, and I’m grateful to anyone who joins me on this journey.”
