Previously known as Sarahscomiclife, stewedcomics is now the name behind some of the best comics created by an artist named Damian. His webcomics show situations from his own life that are funny, relatable, or just silly. “I like to keep it short and add a funny twist,” Damian says.
If you haven’t seen his work before, you’re in for a treat! Damian shared a bit about himself with us: “I’m Damian, 25 years old, from Germany. I’ve always loved comic drawing and art. I work as a painter, which is creative, but I dream of becoming a professional illustrator.”

We were curious about what got Damian into comic art. He told us, “I started drawing comic strips after I got into digital art in 2017. I liked drawing myself as a little character and sharing funny stories from my life. My friends found them funny, so I posted them on my comic website and Instagram, and people loved them! It all started with the idea of making people laugh.”

Damian explained his creative process: “I get comic ideas from unique situations or everyday events where I think, ‘I can’t be the only one who goes through this.’ Sometimes ideas just come to me, so I keep my notes app ready. Then I sketch, ink, color, and post!”
We asked what he hopes people get from his comics. Damian said, “I hope my funny comics make you laugh or at least smile. Maybe you see yourself in them. I want to make life a little less serious with a silly cartoon.”

Damian added I believe in my dream of making art my career. I even started an anime comics mystery series called The Secret of Oak Valley, now in its third season on Instagram. You can read all comics there. Thank you for all the support! Keep doing what makes you happy!”
